10th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March & Celebration : Feb 21st Monday
Monday, February 21st will be the 10th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Peace March and Celebration! We will be marching in the neighborhood surrounding the 7th Street Bridge with many of our neighbors and community members, and later celebrating with performances by GhettoSongBird, Young Seda, Seylin Abarca, The The Wilmington Children’s Chorus, The Underground Kids, Dynamic divas of wilmington, The Teen Warehouse, Dashon Jones, and Vanity Constance. There will be free food, music, activities, resources, and 2 Small Business Marketplaces at Books & Bagels as well as on the Bridge
The When and Where:
Monday, February 21st, 2022 from 10 AM – 4 PM
Poster Making: Books and Bagels, 10 AM – 12 PM
March: W 7th Street Bridge, 12:30 PM lineup, 1 – 2 PM March
Celebration: W 7th Street Bridge, 2 – 4 PM
2 Marketplaces: Books and Bagels, 12 – 4 PM
W 7th Street Bridge 12:30 – 4 PM
Details: Limited posters and markers will be provided at Books and Bagels for the poster making. This event is partially funded by a grant from Delaware Humanities.
