30TH ANNUAL PEOPLE’S FESTIVAL: TRIBUTE TO BOB MARLEY

This year’s summer extravaganza promises an unforgettable lineup on the main stage, headlined by iconic Dancehall Queen and DJ, Sister Nancy, renowned for her impactful presence both on stage and in the recent Tribeca Film Festival feature, “Bam Bam: The Sister Nancy Story” (2024).
Junior Toots will honor his father, Toots Hibbert of Toots and The Maytals, with a special performance, while Reemah brings the roots reggae vibes from Saint Croix, US Virgin Islands, making her first appearance in our area.
Adding to the eclectic mix, award-winning Indigenous hip-hop star Supaman will showcase his unique blend of culture and beats with “The Dancing Prayers,” alongside Virginia’s festival favorite, Mighty Joshua, known for his uplifting Rastaman vibration.
Rounding out the main stage are performances by Josh David Barret, former lead singer of The Wailers, DJ Prez and local rising stars, Lena Aura & Gwapstarr.
The music continues! Uprising Stage returns with a lineup of promising local talent including Kenny Vanella, Genesis Z, Timi Tanzania, The Full Carbon Get Up, and more, promising non-stop live music from 2 PM to 10 PM.
Good Vibes are what you can expect at the Peoples Festival! There is something for Everyone here!
The Children’s Village, Healing Garden, Bamboo Rain Hut, International Food Court, Arts and Crafts from around the world, Beer Garden and Wine Bar and some great positive Live Music from the stage, and soooo many great vibes from the people! Unity & One Love, Always!
