Finally….A conference for the artist in our community whos art reflects our people’s fight for liberation in this corporation(U.S.). A collage of solution oriented workshops to fortify and sustain our art and provide structure and protocol for us and those artist behind us. Workshops that provide a framework to access so that you never have to compromise your stance for our people within your art. Workshops that teach you the proper mind frame you must be in to provide something useful to our people before you pick up a mic, pen, paintbrush, instrument etc. Come enjoy an artist energy like no other. An Afrikan Marketplace and Eatery will be open all day. The evening ends with a dispay of art in concert Featuring Umar Bin Hassan of The Last Poets, Tahir RBG, Precise Science and many more. THIS is a Conference you can actually learn practical applications to immediately apply on your journey to nourishing our people thru art or activism. Proceeds will goto Dhoruba Bin Wahad to assist him with his medical bills from the attack he suffered.
