2 Days of BEYOND JUNETEENTH: June 17th/June 18th
Beyond Juneteenth is an annual holistic, community based cultural, spiritual, and educational event dedicated to moving beyond the symbolism of Juneteenth.
This year our festivities are 2 days!
Saturday, June 17th commences at Drop Squad Kitchen with a Communal Remembrance Procession to the river at 12 Noon to venerate our ancestors and the living community of ancestors (Egbe).
We will have vendors, face painting, good food, good vibes, 6 DJS, Musical Performances, and this will be hosted by King Simon!

The 4th Annual Beyond Juneteenth has moved beyond symbolism and celebrates the ancestral traditions of the enslaved and the accomplishments of their descendants. This years’ Festival is an AfrisymPOEMsium and Expo focused on the education, healing, protection, and adaptation of the human spirit. Come One, Come All!
