3RD ANNUAL POW WOW OF ARTS AND CULTURE

In partnership with the Nanticoke Indian Association, this event celebrates Indigenous culture with traditional dance, music, arts and crafts, and Native food vendors

This Pow wow is open to the public. Visitors of all ages and background welcome. Below, we’re sharing etiquette for non-native visitors:

The dance arena and the seats nearest the circle are reserved for singers, dancers, drummers, and their families.
Visitors are welcome to watch, but please do not participate in dancing unless explicitly invited by the Master of Ceremonies (MC).
Please ask permission before taking photos or videos. Unless you are given permission by the MC.
Please do not touch any part of the regalia of dancers.
Join us in welcoming and showing respect to our Nanticoke and Lenni-Lenape guests, and all community members at the Pow wow. Also make sure to bring your blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the Pow Wow as this will take Place on the Copeland Sculpture Garden.
