AllHipHop and the Delaware Art Museum present the Inaugural Hip-Hop Cultural Summit, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop on Saturday October 7, 10 am – 4 pm. This event will focus on understanding the foundations of Hip-Hop, how Hip-Hop culture has brought to light the struggles within inner city environments, and how the culture empowered these communities through music, dance, art, and knowledge. There will be exhibitions, panel discussions, DJ battles, and performances to celebrate the power of Hip-Hop and its profound impact in the world.
This event is organized by the Delaware Art Museum and supported by the Delaware Division of the Arts, Guerrilla Republik, and AllHipHop.com. This organization is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
