Grind Time Now is the worlds first and largest Rap Battle circuit in the world! So for this event GTN will be helping to “Raise The Bar” on Emcee/Rap Battles in Minnesota!
This “Raise The Bar” kickoff event will be the beginning to a series of events for Spring/Summer 2014 and will be part of a much larger day of activities on March 29th called “A Hip Hop Gathering” geared towards celebrating Woman’s History Month.
However “Raise The Bar” will highlight 2014 GTN Tryout Battles by upcoming Minnesota talent along with special feature battles by Emcees from The Loud Mouth League, Barz On Deck, and the famed Guerrilla Republik artist and GTN destroyer.. MADD ILLZ.

50% of all proceeds will be donated to the of work of Save The Kids for more equitable Public Education and an end to Youth Incarceration. 50% of all proceeds will also go to the MN-HHC specifically to aid in development of additional Hip Hop Cultural Events, document and archive our statewide Hip Hop Culture, increase our Hip Hop Study Programs, Workshops, Lectures, and Outreach.
